2025 Slowish start, poor cold and dreary weather.

2025 has got off to a sluggish start, this cold, dark, dank and dreary weather is not helping man. nor beast. No new species, apart from Brown Rat this year. January is almost done now, lets hope that February is a bit more exciting. My search for winter migrants isn't going so well for a variety of reasons. The cold weather combined with my wife's blood thinners means we are not getting out very much. Also the weather has been so dull and dreary, it just doesn't make for great photographs. Perhaps March the weather, and my luck will improve.

In late February the weather picked up, and we had a prolonged warm, dry spell lasting into late May. By early June I had only acquired images of five new species for my website, as listed below;

Sand Martin - Little-ringed Plover - Coal Tit - Common Snipe and Brown Rat.

Due to go to Norfolk on holiday soon, I hope to get images of a lot of species that will be new for my website.
